The Austrian author Alfred Komarek wrote some crimi-novels about a police man “Simon Polt” who lived in the Weinviertel region and is an individual character.
A few bookes was filmed also in Mailberg. The bike and hiking path “Polt Weg” leads to the original filmed places.
